I first started with Puddleducks doing the Aquanatal classes at the Urban Hotel with Nick. I was really nervous as I wasn't confident in the water at all, but Nick understood and it was brilliant. Also, it meant I got to meet other Mummies-to-be, and I am pleased to say that we are still great friends today! When our son was born, I was desperate to get him into Puddleducks swimming classes as soon as possible- because I couldn't swim, I really wanted him to be confident in the water from a young age. So he's been attending lessons at Belton with Nick ever since, and he absolutely loves it. It's the highlight of our week. I can't believe how much he's achieved and how confident he is in the water. He's starting as a Little Dipper tomorrow, so can't wait to see how he progresses. It's not just about how much fun we have at Puddleducks, it's also that we are learning life-saving skills every week, which is priceless at the end of the day. Thank you Nick and everyone at Puddleducks, we look forward to the next few years of swimming with you :-)
I can't fault puddleducks, it's such a fantastic organisation. Both my daughters attend lessons and have done since a very young age (6 weeks and 9 weeks!). Not only are the lessons fun and very safety conscious but the teachers are amazing and pools are clean and warm with very good changing facilities. One of my favourite aspects is how flexible they are. All children get poorly or holidays are booked and automatically you can change your lesson to another day so you don't lose out! Absolutely brilliant!
